Hello! Sorry kaayo sa late reply, karon ra gyud ko ka open balik sa akong tumblr. Hehe. Anyhow, so far okey raman sya. Wala kaayo major2x thingy nga mga panghitabo. Hehe. Pero sometimes kay magsakit akong likod, nga lami gyud ihigda. Ako advice dili lang palabi barog or lingkod, kelangan mag stretch2x gamay. Tapos heard nga usa sa mga therapies for scoliosis kay swimming. Dunno haven’t tried tho. Btw, diagnosed with scoliosis when I was in junior high. :/ Hope all is well. :)

Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Cor 3:17 NKJV)

This passage in 2 Corinthians talks of the account in Exodus where Moses would speak with God, His face would shine with glory, He would deliver Gods commandments, then would veil his face again as the glory faded until he next went into the presence of The Lord. There is a lot of commentary and thoughts around this - why Moses would veil his face. But one thing I am sure of is that the covenant God made with the people through Moses - the old covenant through the law - was always temporary, it was destined to fade. Whenever Moses got an injection of Glory, when in the presence of God, it faded also. Moses was able to enter into the presence of God, but not able to dwell in it… Take it with him… The glory faded until he was once again in His presence. Through Jesus, we don’t have to cover ourselves, our flaws, our fading glory away, as His love has covered all of our sins for us. Unlike under the old covenant where there was a disconnect between God and man, Jesus has bridged that gap and now through the Holy Spirit we live in connection and relationship with God 24/7. A relationship where we don’t have to hide away our shame and guilt… We are free in the forgiveness, sacrifice and love of Christ. Where the spirit of The Lord is, there is freedom. Freedom to dwell in His presence, Freedom to live unashamed and unshackled through the power of Christ, Freedom in our security and hope in Jesus and our eternal future - it’s not a fading hope, but one that continues to transform from glory to glory. Love you guys, have a blessed day.

spiritualinspiration:

The Bible tells us that faith without works is dead. If we don’t put our faith into action, it’s not really faith; it’s just nice ideas. You see, when God truly does a work in our lives, it affects everything about us. It affects our words, our thoughts and our actions. How do you know someone is generous? By their generous actions. How do you know someone is kind? By their kind actions. How do you know someone is gentle? By their gentle actions. How do you know someone is a follower of Christ? By their Christ-like actions.
Can people tell by your actions that you belong to God? We all have areas where we can come up higher, but as believers in Jesus, we can be confident that God is at work in us. He is faithful and will complete what He started. As we invite Him to search our hearts and minds, as we surrender every area of our heart to Him and put our faith into action, He will finish His perfect work in us!

On Discerning

It’s not easy to discern. We are presented with a lot of options that are good enough and pleasing for our desires. Temptations are there to lure us from the best decisions we are about to choose that may cloud our thoughts and judgements.

Discerning requires the ability to decipher those of God’s and those of the enemy or even of God’s but would definitely test our decision-making and even our faithfulness to Him. But one thing that would make an option the best and holy one, is when we’ve been asking for it from the Lord by praying fervently, tied with wisdom and by the grace of the Holy Spirit that would lead us to the answers we’ve been waiting for—which somehow was already present even from the start for us to realize and are already buried deep within our hearts.
